Waukesha Police Department Gains Accreditation

Law enforcement accreditation group unanimously approved their application.

The Waukesha Police Department has earned the distinguished honor of being an accredited agency after the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG) Board voted unanimously to approve their application for accreditation last week.

Chief Russell Jack made accreditation a goal for the agency upon taking office in October 2009, according to the press release.  After a great deal of effort and work by all, especially the Accreditation Manager CPT Chris Connolly, this goal was accomplished.

This accreditation shows how professional the organization is in all areas of operation as they met or exceed the high standards of WILEAG.
