Police Report: Crashes, Burglary and Other Incidents

Waukesha Police Department calls from Thursday, Jan. 12, and Friday, Jan. 13.

In addition to the incidents below, Waukesha police officers responded to 26 property-damaging crashes between noon and 10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, as the snow fell over the city.

Burglary alarm results in arrests: Two juveniles were taken into custody after police responded to a burglary alarm in the 1000 block of Perkins Avenue Thursday at 7:51 p.m. Upon responding to the alarm, police found a broken window and a bike leaning against a fence on the property. Review of security video showed two suspects running from the scene.

Other incidents

Theft of flush valves was reported at 11:02 a.m. Thursday at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, 725 American Ave.

A broken railroad crossing arm at 410 Arcadian Ave. damaged a Carroll University shuttle van Thursday at 8:44 a.m.

Theft of political signs supporting Gov. Walker was reported in the 1000 block of Pearl Street Friday at 7:46 a.m.

A fight was reported in the 1900 block of Madera Street at 3:01 p.m. The man and the woman involved in the fight were gone when police arrived. An incident report was created.

Mailboxes in the 1300 block of Camden Way were reported to have been knocked over Thursday at 9:45 p.m.

At 9:10 p.m. on Thursday, a resident in the 3700 block of Stillwater Circle reported that their credit card was fraudulently used.

Residents in the 800 block of Scott Avenue were advised following a noise complaint at 1:10 a.m. Friday.

Police advised people about park hours after they were found in Lowell Park, 2200 Madison St, at 12:43 a.m. Friday morning.

Police were called to Whittier Elementary School, 1103 S. East Ave., Thursday at 2:04 p.m. following a report of a 12-year-old being physical with staff. The girl was calm when police arrived. Parents were picking up the child.

Police arrested a man wanted by Milwaukee police for burglary in the 1800 block of Stardust Drive Thursday at 10:26 p.m.
