Summary of police calls from Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12

Assault: A man was arrested after a woman went to Hebron House Sunday at 1:20 a.m. and said she was assaulted by her husband and that he tried to kill her in the 100 West Broadway Avenue. She told police that she jumped out the window to escape. The man came to Hebron House, where he was arrested.

Domestic: A man was arrested following a domestic disturbance with a woman in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue Sunday at 5:05 a.m.

Fighting: One person was arrested and another detained following a fight between people in the alley behind the 1800 block of Oakdale Drive Sunday at 4:41 a.m. The caller who reported the fight said they were jumped.

Arrest: A man was arrested following a domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of Delafield Street Sunday 3:55 a.m. after it was reported that he battered a woman.

Noise complaint: A citation was issued after police reported to a noise complaint call at a party in 300 North Greenfield Avenue Sunday at 1:55 a.m.

Drunk driving: A person was taken into custody for intoxicated driving and their car towed following a traffic stop at West Newhall and South West avenues Sunday at 12:52 a.m.

Noise complaint: A family at a get-together on Saturday 10:23 p.m. in the 800 block of Summit Avenue was advised by police that the noise from their party was mildly excessive.

Stolen beer: Police were called to the PDQ, 2106 S. West Ave., for a theft Saturday at 10:20 p.m. after a man ran out the back door with two cases of beer. Waukesha Sheriff’s Department detained a suspect in the incident.

Threatening behavior: A man was arrested after it was reported that he pushed someone, swore and wanted to fight with people Saturday night at 9:36 p.m. at the Alano Club, 318 W. Broadway.

Arrests following accident: Arrests were made following a car versus motorcycle accident with injuries Saturday at 9:06 p.m. One man suffered lacerations to his head. Police tracked a person who left the accident site to a house in the 2300 block of Imperial Lane, where they forced entry.

Self-harm: A woman was taken into custody in the 3100 block of Madison Street because she may harm herself after her mother called police and reported that the daughter may have overdosed on ibuprofen.

Tasered: Police deployed their Taser while arresting a 16-year-old boy when responding to a call of juvenile trouble in 1200 block of South Grandview Boulevard Saturday night at 6:51 p.m. The boy’s parents had called police and said their son, who has severe emotional disabilities, was out of control and destroying things.

Thefts of two GPS and cellphone: Two thefts from cars were reported Saturday morning. One theft was from a locked car in the 900 block of Habourn Court where a GPS was reported stolen and another was from an unlocked car in the 800 block of Scott Avenue where a GPS and a cellphone were reported stolen.

Vandalism: Four incidents of criminal damage to property, specifically outside lighting and planting pots, were reported Saturday morning. The damage was reported at two houses in the 2300 block of Fox River Parkway; one in the 1200 block of Swallow Road; and the other in the 2300 block of Finch Court.

Arrested: A man and woman were both arrested on outstanding warrants after police responded to a 911 call following a verbal argument in the 400 block of South Grand early Saturday morning.
