Three City Employees Accused of Theft Could Face Charges

Three Waukesha Public Works employees are being accused of stealing over $10,000.

Three City of Waukesha employees, who have been suspended, are facing possible charges for thefts of over $10,000 as early as May, reported Waukesha Now.

One of the suspended city employees was arrested in March after it was reported he was on city garage property after he was ordered not be on the property.

The Waukesha County Sheriff has referred charges to the DA for the suspended Public Works employees. District Attorney Brad Schimel told Waukesha Now that it is too early to determine if charges will be issued and the DA's review should be completed in May.
