The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha’s Theatre Department presents Oliver! a musical based upon the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. The recent Cameron Mackintosh London revival describes Oliver! as, “Bringing vividly to life Dickens’ timeless characters with its ever-popular story of the boy who asked for more, Lionel Bart’s sensational score includes Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah, As Long As He Needs Me and many more.”
Oliver! will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 26, Saturday, July 27, Friday August 2, Saturday, August 3 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 4 in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on the UW-Waukesha campus, 1500 N. University Drive, Waukesha.
The UW-Waukesha Lunt-Fontanne Ensemble presents a wide variety of productions. As a college theatre program, education is the primary goal, and shows are produced in a variety of genres.
