ReplyKeith Obama did not make it a tax and it was not supposed to be one.The supreme court called it that and you should wonder why they did that.I am sure they had a reason other than the obvious.Seems some business owners are only worried about their profits.I have always wondered why a group of business owners couldn't group all their employees together to lower the cost of insurance. It was not allowed .At least with this you can get into a large group to pay lower costs.I worked for 20 years for an employer who paid I believe it was 75% of the cost but we had to change insurance companies every 2 years because the cost raised to much by insurance companies

ReplySome of you people are the problem.I have never had to live in a boarding house but I know others who had no choice because of Job Loss.underemployment, until they could save enough for an apartment or get a roommate..I will agree that there may be some sexual predators but you are very wrong to cast all under one big umbrella.Would you like the same to be done to you?????

On the Blog Post Recalls Benefited the GOP, But We Still Need to Reform Election Laws

ReplyI disagree with taking away same day registering,I moved a few months ago to a city I had very little knowledge of so I waited till this election to register up here.As for legible writing I have Benign inherited tremor so my hands shake a lot and my writing is not always legible, but it is good enough. When I went to vote I Had my DL(actually one expired and one new),an expired state ID from 1965 and two bills(A bank statement and a medicare statement) so it took no time at all to register. It is a fallacy that it takes to much time to register the same day.10 minuets at most.Another thing did walker take himself and his cohorts off their pension plans or insurance plans.Never heard that so have to assume he did not.AS for Mrs Obama the first Lady. That is what happens with any first lady or president to keep the nut balls away as best as can so someone is not killed very far from voter ID laws.I have no problem with some of the Id laws walker wants in but some go way to far.Isn't it about time to stop the hate on all sides?

ReplySorry I misunderstood Randy and I fully agree. and Brian when the stae takes money away from education it has to be made up somehow and in my village we were taxed at 75% of our home value and it raised to 100% since walker took office and implemented his reductions on our blue ribbon public schools. And no the value of my home did not go down and I live in what may be considered a red part of the state.

ReplyWasn't by a huge margin not by a long shot and not a big surprise that the
places that voted walker were where people with money(for the most part ) vote.I read the article where a corporate owner said they would not hire until walker won. What does that tell ya?????By the way Hoffa I am an independent who tries to vote for whom I feel will do the best for our state and our country I have voted both sides and even voted emocrate for state Governor while voting republican for the feds or voting a split ticket.I don't let any one lead me down the garden path. I do my own research about both sides unlike some I have seen on these pages

So It is really up to the states as it always was and only for TANF grants.Do some of you not know that business can hire people that are on welfare and get a break for it,Look thru some applications and they will ask if you are or will be getting food share, why do you think that is.Sorry to say walmart is one of the largest and I agree it gives people jobs but why should companies make a profit off people who earn low wages that have to depend on food share.I voted for Tommy Thomson because of his welfare to work program and it is now used across the nation but with this hyperbole he spouted and the way he has now put party rhetoric first over people I never would again or at this moment vote for any GOP person except for a few that have spoken up against the hate some through out their against the same people they are supposed to represent. They represent all not just those who voted for them..
