ReplyI had a skunk dig next to my foundation under a deck and nest in the Winter. He died, and come Spring- we had to leave our home due to irritation of eyes nose and mouth. The fumes were horrendous. I was told the dead body continued to fill the stink sac until it finally burst. We had to hire a cleanup company to use ozone machines and clean everything in the home, with no guarantees it would work.
I had a hard time getting a hotel room because the skunk smell permeated my families clothes. It is funny now, but wasn't back then.
I bought a live trap, and caught a few skunks. It is against Wisconsin law to release a trapped skunk due to the high incidence of rabies. An exterminator will come and kill it and dispose of the body for $100. The trap is about $35 at Fleet Farm.
Three weeks of Ozone machines cleaning the air and we were able to move back in.
Don't allow a skunk to live near your home. Chances are it will get rabies, so elimination of the problem is prudent.
By the way, homeowners insurance pays for skunk damage. Skunks are NOT rodents, most policies exclude coverage for rodents. Call a wildlife control business, and they will supply the trap and disposal. -

Bummer they do not have cameras in the lot. Maybe they would have pics of these guys without the masks.
Anyone dumb enough to pull off an armed robbery will eventually get caught, someone so stupid to hit a Mickey D's will talk about it.
No doubt the family will say they were good boys, just turning their life around. -

"As a result, long before I retired my house was paid for and I've always been debt-free."
Then apparently you were not always debt free.
You continued with: "I have never paid a finance charge in my entire life."
I have yet to see zero interest mortgages.... -

Contract with Milwaukee?
That is just fine if it isn't YOUR house on fire.
20 minutes wait for a pumper, and your home is a total loss.
IF you were on the FD here in the Falls for 26 years, then you know all the training and hours put into learning the skills necessary to stay alive and rescue fire victims.
I have had third degree burns, no pay would get me to go into a burning building.
I don't know what your beef is with the Chief, but if you did 26 years for MFFD then you must have been a misfit and malcontent. -

The recall pic is to show people like Scott who, after all this time, refuse to admit they were wrong about Walker.
This is why he posts unsubstantiated and false information to back up his half wit arguments. -

Steve: Don't bother to try to explain the concept. If they can't swipe a QuestCard and get something free- they really do not care to understand.

ReplyEven the liberal media can no longer hide Obama's blunders. I don't know why it took 4 years for them to wipe the stars out of their eyes to see the truth.
O'blunder has crapped on the constitution, and keeps stepping it up a notch at a time.
Mark my words...he WILL get a third term if people like Bren and Wilson continue to defend him to the core....
When he says, "Give up your guns", those two will go along willingly.
When he says, "Board the trains", it will be too late.

Call the guy out in Hartford. He does a lot of work in your area because people can't just shoot the varmint. I would guess it may be $150 to trap and remove it.
Don't mix poison with ground meet ! He will die and stink you out. ;)
The last thing you want is for it to bite someone due to the rabies issues.
If you are brave enough to trap it alone. Throw a tarp over the trap as you approach him. This calms them down. They spray them with chloroform to kill them, but I doubt that is available retail.
If you really don't want to spend the $150- try calling your city hall. This is a public safety issue.
