ReplyThanks for reading, sir!
As far as the defense, the most encouraging thing I've heard all summer is that Tramon Williams is looking like his 2010 self again. With that, Woodson hopefully doing what he does best, and--again hopefully--the pass-rush coming together, we should have a decent defense this year. There's too much talent on that side of the ball to avoid it.
(I don't have Madden, or a PS3 for that matter... but if I did, I would!) -

Reply@Sara Conrad--
You know that was not all of Cathy's comments, correct?
"I think we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say, 'We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage,'" Cathy said. "I pray God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about."
http://www.christianpost.com/news/chick-fil-a-president-says-gods-judgment-coming-because-of-same-sex-marriage-78485/#2Ocef2klTpeu6SMQ.99While I agree that the backlash against Obama for his stance on same-sex marriage was muted in comparison, surely you'll agree that Cathy's full statement is rather more inflammatory than you're making it out to be. I believe that undermines your argument that Obama demonstrated "a MUCH more of [sic] anti-gay stance", at least when Cathy is talking about how redefining marriage is going to bring down God's judgment.

Re: poisoning drug users:
Quite aside from the moral aspects, it's been tried under similar circumstances and didn't work then. http://www.slate.com/articles/health_and_science/medical_examiner/2010/02/the_chemists_war.html(Apologies if someone has already pointed this out, but I didn't feel like scrolling through all 200 comments to see if they had.)

That was Mike Sherman and the infamous B.J. Sander pick. (Sorry for the delay; I'm supposed to get emails about comments, but in practice the service doesn't work all that well.)

ReplyAs it stands, the Saints would have the No. 3 seed, meaning that they and the Packers wouldn't meet in the playoffs unless they both made it to the NFC Championship Game. Wouldn't that be a fun one to watch?

(First question: Should I start Mike Williams or Mike Tolbert as my flex starter (the other two RBs and WRs are better)?)

Quietwood: that's a particularly good point, seeing as Jackson (a real poster boy for the unhappy wideout) was benched last Sunday for missing a team meeting. It's hard to even imagine Nelson being selfish in that way, let alone demanding more targets.

ReplyAlso, please disregard the "Down just 24-21 at the half, the Packers lost to the Saints as the Falcons rattled off three straight TDs.", which makes no sense. That game is covered under the Saints line right below it.

'08 grad here, and what on Earth happened to the Shorewood-Messmer team? I mean, when did we actually get GOOD? This is completely new territory for me.
