Whose 15 Minutes of Fame Should Expire in 2013?

If you want them to just go away quietly, we probably have listed them in our poll. Vote or add a name we haven't thought of in the comments section.

Pop culture fame can arrive in a flash. For some, it lasts decades; others see it expire in Andy Warhol’s proverbial 15 minutes. Many of the iconic names in pop culture from 2012 will be long forgotten by the end of 2013. Who are you most rooting for to land in the “Where Are The Now?” file? You can’t watch a commercial during a football game this season without an appearance by Pitbull, whose fame appears entirely attached to appearing in commercials during NFL games. That still exceeds the fame of Kim Kardashian, which appears tied to … well … something. The contest for Biggest Earworm of 2012 is almost a dead heat between “Call Me Maybe” from Carly Rae Jepsen and “Gangam Style” from Psy. Last on our list is Honey Boo Boo, the “Toddlers …

Video: North Grads Wow Crowd Gangnam Style

Waukesha musicians took first place in UW-Whitewater talent show.

Local Waukesha musicians Matthew Schwanke and Lukas Hale, both 2012 graduates of Waukesha North High School, participated in UW-Whitewater's Talent Show last Thursday and won first place, performing a comedic-musical performance of the hit song Gangnam Style. Gangnam Style, a South Korean pop single, has made the charts in America after its release earlier this year.
