Woman experienced car trouble and was hit by a vehicle on the freeway.
A 54-year-old woman was killed as she was walking across a traffic lane on Interstate 43 after experiencing car troubles, according to Patch's media partners WISN 12 News. The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. Saturday near Racine Avenue in New Berlin, WISN 12 News is reporting. Today's TMJ4 is reporting the woman is from Waukesha.

Funeral for 27-year-old Waukesha man killed in car crash will be held Sunday.
Ryan J. Batzler age 27 of Waukesha, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, from injuries sustained in a car accident in Wausaukee, WI. He was born on July 11, 1985, the loving son of Stephen and Catherine (nee Wolter) Batzler of Waukesha, dear brother of Jammie (Robert) Zaptin of Burlington and Stephanie (Davorin) Spasic of Appleton. He was the best uncle to Cayla, Alex, Robert Jr., Brenna and Liam. He is further survived by his grandmothers Joanne Batzler of Elkhorn and Geraldine Wolter of Waukesha; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Waukesha woman killed in an apparent drunken driving crash that injured another woman after the two women run out of gas on Highway 59/164.

Jean Feagles, 48, of Waukesha, was coming home from New Berlin early Saturday morning after dropping off her daughter when her car ran out of gas near Highway 59/164 and East Broadway in Waukesha. As the car was being pushed, a 28-year-old Waukesha man struck the vehicle at 3:35 a.m. — ultimately killing Feagles and injuring her 16-year-old daughter, according to a family friend who spoke on condition of anonymity. A 31-year-old woman was killed after she stepped in front of an oncoming vehicle in an apparent suicide Wednesday night, according to Capt. Ron Oremus. The Waukesha Police Department was dispatched to the pedestrian vs. vehicle crash at 11:49 p.m. Wednesday at Highway 164 north of East Broadway. The woman was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Flight For Life was unable to respond because of the weather conditions, according to the police department's call log. The witnesses told authorities that the woman was standing in the far right southbound lane.
