A 41-year-old Waukesha man realized he got on the wrong way, then did a U-turn at the top of the off ramp right in front of a Racine County sheriff's deputy, according to a criminal complaint.
A 41-year-old Waukesha man is accused of driving drunk and nearly onto the expressway the wrong way in Racine County. Clever A. Escobar was charged in Racine County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of fourth offense operating while intoxicated with a minor in the vehicle. If convicted, he faces up to two years in prison and $4,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Sunday, a Racine County sheriff’s deputy was travelling northbound on Interstate-94 near the 7 Mile Road off ramp, when he spotted a car driven by Escobar traveling up the ramp. A 27-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges alleging he hit a curb in front of a cop while driving drunk with drugs in his car. David W. Sevallius was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of second offense possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of second offense operating while intoxicated. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison and $11,600 in fines.
