An out-of-state man suspected of posing on Facebook as a New Berlin West High School student to chat with underage girls won't be arrested by Waukesha police. Waukesha police investigated an incident where a man may have posed as a teenage boy in an effort to meet with a Waukesha 13-year-old girl. The police department is not referring charges because of jurisdictional issues. However, the case is being turned over to authorities in California. According to a search warrant filed in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Nov. 19, officers were informed by the girl’s mother that her daughter received a friend request on her Facebook account from a person who said they were a New Berlin West High School student. Suspect, 17, has sexually explicit conversation with 12-year-old girl he then discusses meeting up with for sex, according to criminal complaint.
A 17-year-old camp counselor is facing charges after he allegedly tried to put together a sexual rendezvous with a 12-year-old girl, according to a criminal complaint. Joshua T. Thompson was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Friday with one count of child enticement. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison and $100,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On June 13, Thompson contacted the girl via Facebook and had a five-hour conversation with her that turned sexually explicit. He eventually told the girl — who he met while being a counselor at Camp Whitcomb – he would have sex with her as long as she would promise to “keep it on the down low.” Thompson then told the girl he would pick her up, but she said she …

The Waukesha Police Department is seeking information about a man who allegedly offered a 15-year-old girl money in exchange for sex Wednesday morning, according to Capt. Ron Oremus. The girl, a Waukesha South High School student, was walking to school around 9 a.m. near Hoover and Garfield avenues when she was approached by the man, Oremus said in a news release. The girl told authorities the unknown man offered her money to see her panties and for sexual intercourse. The girl declined both of his advances.
