A 64-year-old Waukesha man is accused of driving with a .29 percent blood alcohol concentration with his 2-year-old grandson in the vehicle, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday in Waukesha County Circuit Court. Ronald E. Doern was charged with felony drunken driving. If convicted, he faces between 120 days and two years in jail and $1,200 in fines. He remains jailed in lieu of $2,500 bail. Waukesha police investigating car accident after woman hits tree on East Main Street on Saturday.
A 30-year-old Waukesha woman and her two children are facing life-threatening injuries after the woman's vehicle crashed into a tree at 726 E. Main St. at 10:26 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release from Sgt. Jerry Habanek. Flight For Life transported one child to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin by helicopter. The other child was transported to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin by ambulance and the mother was sent to Froedtert Hospital via ambulance. The Waukesha Fire Department provided medical treatment at the scene, according to Habanek. The two Waukesha police officers and the two Waukesha County sheriff’s deputies who shot at 44-year-old Gibson P. Martin, who a complaint states was violently slashing a knife while charging toward the officers as a suicide attempt, have been cleared of any wrongdoing in their use of force by Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel. Gibson P. Martin, 44, of Waukesha, admitted in the hospital that he was trying to commit "suicide by cop," according to the criminal complaint.
The 44-year-old Waukesha man who was shot by Waukesha police officers and Waukesha County deputies on April 21 told an investigator he did not intend to hurt a family friend he held hostage but wanted to “commit suicide by cop,” a criminal complaint filed Wednesday states. Gibson P. Martin made the statement after being given his Miranda warning in the intensive care unit of Froedtert Hospital, where he received treatment for his wounds. Martin was charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and obstruction of an officer with use of a dangerous weapon. He faces up to six years and three months in prison if convicted. A Waukesha man has been turned over to Lafayette County law enforcement who are investigating a triple homicide. The man, Jaren Kuester, had been reported missing earlier in Green County.

A Milwaukee man and woman face drug delivery charges after Waukesha police say the woman stashed marijuana in her weave, which is a hair piece, and heroin in her vaginal area, according to a criminal complaint. Adrian T. Brown, 28, was charged Wednesday in Waukesha County Circuit Court with maintaining a drug trafficking place and conspiracy to deliver heroin. The woman, Quanesha Q. Clyburn, 22, was charged earlier in April with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession of marijuana.
