Complaint: Man Points Gun on Freeway Driver During Texting Dispute
A Dousman man tells a Waukesha County deputy he was moving his gun from his hip holster to the passenger seat after telling the other driver to not text and drive, according to the criminal complaint.
A 40-year-old Dousman man is accused of pulling a gun and pointing it at a driver on Interstate-94 after he got upset with the other person’s driving. Tan A. Tran was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Wednesday with one count of pointing a firearm at another person, one count of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon. If convicted, he faces up to 21 months in prison and $21,000 in fines.
