Thomas V. Sciano, 27, sexually assaulted children at parks, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department.
A 27-year-old convicted sex offender will be living at S43W28760 Highway 59 in the Town of Genesee upon his release, according to a news release from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department. Thomas V. Sciano, who will turn 28 next week, is convicted of sexually assaulting children at different parks. A 2003 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article reports he sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl at Hartland Elementary School after chasing away bullies who were throwing rocks at her. Sciano also has incidents of exposing himself and inappropriate touching, according to the news release. Some of his victims were not acquaintances. A Waukesha man who had sexual contact with his 15-year-old paperboy and asked a male stranger for sex in a library bathroom will live at 1356 E. Moreland Blvd. when he is released from priosn. Thomas W. McGargill also sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy – who he gave marijuana to while watching pornography. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison in 2000. McGargill is 5-feet, 10-inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds with brown air and green eyes. Joel Hochmuth, 52, of Waukesha, will spend four years in prison on his child pornography possession conviction.
The former Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) communication director — who was fired from his position upon his arrest for child pornography possession — will spend four years in prison after he followed a boys cross country team on multiple occasions. Joel W. Hochmuth also was sentenced Wednesday to five years of extended supervision after his probation was revoked on his child porn possession conviction. A 22-year-old Waukesha man who targeted young pre-teen and teen girls and a boy has been released into the community following his four-year prison sentence. Brandon M. Melton had sex with a 13-year-old girl, inappropriately touched three 13-year-old girls without permission and exposed himself to a 10-year-old boy, forcing the boy to touch him inappropriately, according to a news release from the Waukesha Police Department. Melton was an acquaintance of all the victims. Online court records show Melton was sentenced to four years in prison and eight years of extended supervision following his guilty plea on a second-degree sexual assault of a child conviction. A woman is accused of having methamphetamine in her residence while police are looking into her sex offender son possibly having child pornography, according to a criminal complaint.
The mother of a sex offender accused of having child pornography in her home is now facing her own charges after Waukesha police said they found methamphetamine belonging to her. Teri L. Fariss, 46, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Wednesday with one count of possession of methamphetamine. If convicted, she faces up to 1 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Sept. 24, Waukesha police officers served a search warrant on a residence in the 1800 block of Shepherd Court while investigating Thomas Kopp, 24, of having child pornography. A 24-year-old registered sex offender who already faced federal prosecution for possession of child pornography finds himself again jailed on similar charges. Thomas J. Kopp, of Waukesha, was charged Monday with four counts of possessing child pornography and one county of failing to update information to the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry. He faces a maximum sentence of 106 years in prison if convicted of all five counts. Kopp was released from the Waukesha County Jail on Monday on $5,000 bail. A 41-year-old Waukesha sex offender is facing charges alleging he was masturbating at an area gas station, prompting a woman to call authorities. Lynn C. Thompson was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Thursday with one count of lewd and lascivious behavior. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines. Suspect allegedly had girls take Melatonin while at a sleepover in his residence, then one of the girls woke up to him assaulting her, according to a criminal complaint.
A 46-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted several girls during the past five years at his apartment in the 1200 block of Fleetfoot Drive, according to a criminal complaint. According to the criminal complaint: The suspect, who isn’t being named by Patch in order to protect the identity of the victims, touched his step-daughter and her friends on multiple occasions since 2007. In March, the girls had a sleepover at his apartment and he had all of them take Melatonin to have them fall asleep and one of the girls told investigators she woke up to the suspect assaulting her.
