Catholic Memorial Football Headed to State Championship
Catholic Memorial beats Mount Horeb/Barneveld on their way to the state championship.
Catholic Memorial defeated Mount Horeb/Barneveld 35-7 in the Division 3 High School Football Semifinal at Kettle Moraine High School Saturday afternoon. While the scoring was somewhat lopsided, Mount Horeb played well and was simply outclassed by the well-functioning machine that is the Crusaders football team. Catholic Memorial will play Waupaca High School in the state championship game at 10 a.m. Friday at Camp Randall in Madison. Waupaca beat West DePere High School 16-14 on Friday.
