Obituary: Robert “Bob” G. Schmidt
Waukesha man, 57, died Thursday.
Robert “Bob” G. Schmidt, of Waukesha, died on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at the age of 57 years. Bob was born on July 28, 1955, in Port Washington, WI the son of Raymond and Beatrice (Dreblow) Schmidt. He started his career in the auto industry working for Kennedy Chrysler/Hub in 1976 and became their shop foreman. In 1989, Bob and Amy started their own business along with his brother called Professional Auto where they ultimately expanded with two locations until 2000. He then went on to work for the Catholic Urban Academy as a maintenance manager until he took the position as a facilities director with St. Mary Catholic Church from 2005 until present.
