Sex Offender Released After Commitment Efforts Stumble
Reginald Rigsby, 35, was in prison for a "sexually motivated" burglary. However, a jury found that he was not a sexually violent person.
A 35-year-old man, a registered sex offender, is being released into Waukesha after a jury decided that he was not a sexually violent person. Reginald A. Rigsby will live at 1356 E. Moreland Blvd., Apt. 1B, according to a news release from the Waukesha Police Department. He will be released Monday. The Wisconsin Department of Justice lost in June its two-year fight to have Rigsby committed as a sexually violent person after he served eight years in prison for a Waukesha County burglary in 1998 “that was sexually motivated,” states a news release from DOJ. “Reginald Rigsby has a history of masturbating in public while looking at or talking to adult females,” states the news release from the Waukesha Police Department. “He has tried to grab …
