Obituary: Ray E. Anders
Waukesha man, 95, was born in Kansas.
Ray E. Anders, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully at LindenGrove on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the age of 95 years. Ray was born in Delia, Kansas on Aug. 30, 1917, the son of Jesse and Pearl (nee Richardson) Anders. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth “Betty” Alm on August 30, 1939. Ray proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wales and was most recently a member of Christ the Life Lutheran Church in Waukesha. Ray loved hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was an excellent woodworker and built two homes. For many years, Ray worked at the Archie Ladewig Company in Waukesha.
