A 31-year-old Waukesha man is accused of trying to outrun police officers while driving a motorcycle drunk, according to a criminal complaint. Ricky L. Perry was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of attempting to flee a traffic officer, one count of obstructing an officer, one count of resisting an officer and one count of second offense operating while intoxicated. The driver outran Brookfield police officers who stopped chase before he drove into the Shire neighborhood. They found his car ditched behind a tree in a backyard, but the man turned himself in a week later.
A Waukesha man led police on a high speed chase through Brookfield and eventually ditched his car behind a pine tree in the back yard of a residence, prosecutors allege. Jermaine L. Williams, 27, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of attempting to flee an officer. If convicted, he faces up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
