Former Waukesha woman dies at age 84.
Patricia Louise Crewes Shonkwiler “Pat”, age 84, passed away peacefully, Friday, Jan. 18, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. She was born March 31, 1928 in Indianapolis. Pat was the daughter of the late, James A. and Marie M. Crewes. She was the beloved wife of the late George Shonkwiler, for 39 years, who preceded her in death in 1990. Pat graduated from Howe High School in Indianapolis in 1946 and was a graduate of Stevens College in Columbia, MO. She was an accountant for her father’s typewriter store in Indianapolis and a homemaker. Pat lived in Buffalo, NY, Cedar Rapids, IA, and Waukesha, WI for 38 years, and moved to Agape Assisted Living in Rock Hill, SC in 2011. She had a passion for training dogs, and loved to study …
