Four arranged drug purchases by police within eight days led Waukesha County prosecutors to charge a Milwaukee man with seven felonies relating to the possession, manufacture, delivery and/or sale of heroin and narcotics. Confidential informants, under the guidance of Waukesha police officers, spent $2,660 to buy drugs from Dalandric Manuel, 35, of Milwaukee, according to a criminal complaint. A jail inmate in Waukesha is searched, and prescription medications he's not supposed to have turn up concealed in his pants.
A man being held at the Waukesha County Jail got himself into even more trouble thanks to a “small object” that “moved about” in the “groin area.” That object — a plastic bag of prescription medication, including Oxycodone — led to charges last week of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor violating state/county institution laws. According to a criminal complaint, a jail correctional officer was performing a random check of Nicholas Graefe, 32, at 4:40 p.m. last Sept. 13. The robbery occurred six days after Walgreens on Sunset Drive was robbed of oxycodone pills.
The Waukesha Police Department is investigating a second pharmacy robbery that occurred less than a week after Walgreens was robbed during the Christmas parade. Police were called to the ValuCare Pharmacy, 501 S. Grand Ave., at 1:46 p.m. Saturday for a report of a man robbing the store of oxycodone pills. The man, who had his face covered, told an employee he had a gun in his pocket. The clerk didn’t see a gun but noticed the man did have something in his pocket, according to the Waukesha Police Department’s call log. The man left the scene before police were called. A 26-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he was arrested for carrying heroin and Oxycodone in his socks during a traffic stop in Greenfield. Daniel J. Campbell was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Tuesday with one count of possession of a controlled substance. If convicted, he faces up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. A Brookfield woman will serve four years probation and avoid prison after she gave oxycodone pills to a Waukesha man who later overdosed and died.
A Brookfield woman who provided the oxycodone that lead to the death of Waukesha resident Matthew D. Dziatkiewicz will avoid prison. Jessica J. Hintz, 26, pleaded guilty in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Thursday to felony first-degree reckless homicide by delivery of drugs. Waukesha County Circuit Judge Kathryn Foster sentenced Hintz to four years probation. She could have faced up to 40 years in prison. Prosecutors said that in November 2011, Hintz got a bag of oxycodone pills from a friend at a bar in Milwaukee and late on Nov. 4, she ingested two while Dziatkiewicz, 25, took five of the pills and consumed alcohol. A 44-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he allegedly robbed an area pharmacy using a gun frame he took from a foundry where he worked. Robert J. Koebler was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Wednesday with one count of armed robbery with use of force. If convicted, he faces up to 40 years in prison and $100,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 12:43 p.m. July 9, Koebler walked into the Moreland Plaza Pharmacy and handed a note to the pharmacist, which read “Opana and Percocet.” He then lifted up his shirt to show the butt of a gun inside his waistband, so the pharmacist went and got two bottles of Oxycodone and two bottles of Opana and put them in a bag for Koebler, who then fled out of the store. …

A 31-year-old man sold Oxycodone pills to informant at a Franklin store and West Allis trailer park, according to a criminal complaint.
A 31-year-old Oak Creek man is facing charges after he allegedly sold Oxycodone to a police informant on two separate occasions in July. Jonah M. Stasinopoulos was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison and $100,000 in fines. As prescription pain medication abuse continues to rise, area emergency rooms will likely go Oxy Free in the next few months, meaning patients might get a little more tough love.
Fed up with patients that don’t have legitimate reasons for taking prescription pain medications, emergency room physicians in southeastern Wisconsin will soon be giving large doses of tough love to patients who are doctor shopping. Nationally, narcotic prescription medication abuse, including abuse of oxycodone and oxycontin, is on the rise. So within the next few months hospitals in Milwaukee County are going “Oxy-free” and a Racine-based emergency department is also looking into doing the same. The information-sharing group includes officials from Froedtert Hospital, Wheaton Franciscan, Columbia-St. Mary's, and Aurora Health Care. Two people are being investigated for allegedly selling heroin, oxycodone, leading officers to a large heroin stash, according to a search warrant.
Two area individuals are under investigation after officers with the Waukesha County Metro Drug Unit discovered they were allegedly selling large amounts of heroin and oxycodone in the area. According to search warrants filed in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday, officers raided three locations in Waukesha where they recovered guns, drugs, cash and records. The suspects have not yet been charged and are not being identified by Patch. The documents state that April through July, officers learned that the two people have been dealing large amounts of heroin and oxycodone in the area.
