Man Faces OWI Homicide Charges in Death of Woman, Unborn Baby
An updated criminal complaint filed against Edgar Montano in the death of 48-year-old Jean Feagles alleges that Montano was driving drunk in the hit-and-run car accident on July 21.
The 28-year-old Waukesha man accused of killing 48-year-old Jean Feagles of Waukesha during an alleged drunken driving hit-and-run crash now faces additional charges after a passenger in his car had a miscarriage following the accident, according to court records. Edgar Montano remains jailed in lieu of $250,000. His preliminary hearing was delayed until Sept. 6 after District Attorney Brad Schimel amended a criminal complaint to include two additional felony charges against Montano. Montano previously was not charged with operating while intoxicated because police did not have blood evidence immediately after the crash.
