Obituary: Erma Bloede Carr
Erma was a longtime employee of the Waukesha Motor Co. and she also worked for the Fred Schmidt Co. after moving to North Prairie. She was a faithful and longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in North Prairie.
Erma Bloede Carr, of Waukesha, formerly of North Prairie, died on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 97. She was born in Packwaukee, WI on Sept. 15, 1914, the daughter of William and Mary (nee Mike) Bloede. Erma was a longtime employee of the Waukesha Motor Co. and she also worked for the Fred Schmidt Co. after moving to North Prairie. She was a faithful and longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in North Prairie. Erma enjoyed bowling and golfing and loved to play cards. She was an avid knitter and was always knitting something for someone.
