Waukesha Man Accused of Trying to Steal Copper

Police say the suspect fled a duplex after a business employee spotted him and a friend trying to steal copper, according to a criminal complaint.

A 33-year-old Waukesha man is accused of breaking into a Milwaukee home with his friend so they could steal copper so they could buy heroin, according to a criminal complaint. Joseph D. Poehlman was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with one count of burglary. If convicted, he faces up to 7 ½ years in prison and $25,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 12:14 p.m. Monday, an employee at Next Step Residential Services, 3193 S. 77th St., came into work and discovered the side door of the building was open. The company is located within a duplex and the employee could hear someone sawing in the basement. A Waukesha man is accused of sexually assaulting a friend’s 14-year-old stepdaughter after a day of drinking and watching the Packers game at a home in Milwaukee, according to a criminal complaint. Michael Wilkins, 32, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Tuesday with one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child less than 16 years old. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison and $100,000 in fines. A 26-year-old Waukesha man is accused of breaking into coin boxes at a northside Laundromat before getting stopped by customers and hit in the head with a cane by the business owner. James J. Kelleher was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of possession of burglarious tools and one count of entry into a lock coin box. Couple Claims Man Robbed Them in Craigslist Scheme, Police Say

A Janesville man and his girlfriend claim they were jumped while they were attempting to purchase a vehicle in Milwaukee, according to a criminal complaint.

A Waukesha man is facing charges after a Janesville couple claimed he robbed them after a fake deal to sell a car was set up on Craigslist, according to a criminal complaint. Jose Alfredo Aguilera, 27, of Waukesha, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of robbery with use of force. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison and $50,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Oct. 3, Milwaukee police officers were called to St. Luke’s Hospital after a woman was there being treated for a laceration she sustained during a robbery. Man Threatens Police After They Let Him Go

Waukesha man is arrested twice within a half hour let go, but he decided to come back and yell at officers some more, according to criminal complaint.

A 42-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after Milwaukee police officers let him go twice in one night and he then decided to go back to the police station and threaten officers, according to a criminal complaint. Dione Wendell Haywood was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on June 8 with one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 2:18 a.m. June 6, a Milwaukee police officer on patrol spotted Haywood driving a Chevrolet Impala toward oncoming traffic in the 3100 block of North 42nd Street and pulled him over. A 24-year-old Waukesha man is facing felony charges after he was caught with two bindles of heroin on the north side of Milwaukee. Anthony T.
