I-43 Bridge Closures In Milwaukee County Begin Monday

If you travel Interstate 43, you'll need to be aware of these closures. Here's what you need to know.

Several ramps along I-43 will close beginning Monday and will remain closed until at least July, according to officials with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Depending on the weather, officials plan to close a single-lane from Howard Avenue to the Marquette Interchange. According to the DOT press release: This closure will start at Howard Avenue and extend north each night, until it reaches the northernmost limit of the Valley Bridge. Two Charged In Waukesha County Armed Robberies

Suspects admit to robbing two area gas stations along with others in the metro Milwaukee region.

Two men currently being held in the Milwaukee County Correctional Facility South are facing charges for two armed robberies of gas stations in Waukesha County. Patrick G. Lynch, 52, and Jimmie L. Perkins, 31, were charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Monday with four combined counts of armed robbery. If convicted, they each face up to 80 years in prison and $200,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Aug. 26, Lynch went into Good-To-Go Citgo in Menomonee Falls wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a mask made out of a sleeve, showed a gun and demanded money from an employee.
