Free George Webb Burgers if Brewers Win Next 3 Games

George Webb Restaurant is once again predicting a 12-game winning streak. If the Milwaukee Brewers make it, the restaurant will give away free burgers.

George Webb is predicting a 12-game winning streak for the Brewers and last time their prediction came true the restaurant gave out 168,194 free burgers throughout the state. The restaurant chain plans to do the same giveaway if the Brewers make to the 12th win, according to a release. They are pretty close to hitting that streak again. The Brewers won their ninth straight game Tuesday, a 6-3 win over the San Diego Padres.  George Webb’s General Manager Ryan Stamm said, “This is such an exciting start of the year for the team. How Many Games Will the Milwaukee Brewers Win This Year?

Opening Day for the Milwaukee Brewers is Monday, and fans are hoping they can return to the top of the National League Central Division — or at least beat the Chicago Cubs.

Milwaukee Brewers Opening Day is Monday, April 1 against the Colorado Rockies. The team was 83-79 last year, third in the NL Central Division. Fans’ expectations were recently raised after signing of free agent pitcher Kyle Lohse, a former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher who was 16-3 last year with a 2.86 ERA. Also key for Milwaukee’s hopes are the fortunes of Ryan Braun. The left fielder authored another incredible offensive season in 2012 (.319 batting average, 41 HR, 112 RBI, 30 SB) but is followed by a cloud of suspicion over the possible use of performance-enhancing drugs. USA Today reported that Braun is a top target of an investigation; Major League Baseball denied that report to Sports Illustrated.   How do you think the Brewers will …

Domestic Violence Charge Dropped Against 'K-Rod'

Former Brewers reliever Francisco Rodriguez was accused of beating his fiancee, but charges were dismissed after she apparently left the country.

A domestic abuse charge filed against former Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Francisco "K-Rod" Rodriguez was dismissed by a Waukesha County judge Thursday after the prosecution said it could no longer meet the burden of proof in the case. Rodriguez, 30, was charged last month with disorderly conduct-domestic abuse, a misdemeanor, after being accused of beating his fiancé inside a Wales home after she suspected he was cheating on her. Rodriguez pleaded not guilty to the charge and a jury trial was scheduled to begin next Tuesday. During what was supposed to be a status hearing Thursday, Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel told the court that the state could not meet its burden of proof and would not pursue the charges, according to …

Corey Hart And Other Athletes To Speak About Their Faith At Grace Church

Life for Milwaukee Brewer right fielder Corey Hart wasn't going as smoothly as he had wanted, but then his faith brought him comfort during a difficult time when others had started to doubt him.

For Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Corey Hart living his dream came with a price he wasn’t willing to pay. So he turned to Christ. Hart and other athletes with stories of faith will share those at a Saturday event in Caledonia.  Caledonia resident and Brewers bullpen coach Marcus “Koos” Hanel; Racine native and safety for the Seattle Seahawks Chris Maragos; Racine native and former catcher for Milwaukee Brewers minor league team Jason Jaramillo; and catcher for the Dodgers AJ Ellis will be speaking at Hart’s event called “Heart to Hart” at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Grace Church, 3626 State Highway 31. “I was always looking for things, negative things…and I was so worried about being the best baseball player and the best you know, whatever,” …

8-Twelve's Azana Spa Benefit Raises Money for Victims' Children

A charity auction was held at 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill in Brookfield to benefit the children of the women killed in the Azana Salon & Spa shooting.

Updated Tuesday: Today's TMJ4 says between tickets and the silent auction, 8-twelve's fundraiser raised more than $60,000 for the families of the who died in the Azana spa shooting. ______________________ A packed house at 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill in Brookfield Monday night raised $20,000 just in tickets — plus more from rare finds in a silent auction, such as Aaron Rodgers game-worn playoff cleats. And it was all primarily for eight people, namely the children of three mothers slain in the Oct. 21 tragedy at Azana Salon & Spa in Brookfield. Photos of the three women who worked at the spa reminded the 200 who paid $100 a piece to get in just why they were supporting the cause. Candles flickered near the photos and remembrances of Zina …

I attended this event Monday and was impressed by the number of people and the sincere interest in the affected families welfare that everyone shared. @KKP this isn't about my daughter, whom I may add I've raised to know better than to go around hitting people. I don't doubt though that it must be very traumatic to get dragged around by the hair by somebody who you were punching in the face a moment before. When you start hitting someone like the woman in this case did, you have to live with the fact that someone is going to get injured, …   more ›
