Pewaukee woman dies at age 92
Mildred M. Zimdars, of Pewaukee, passed away peacefully at Seasons Hospice on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at the age of 92 years. Mildred was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on March 6, 1920, the daughter of Emil and Ida (nee Buth) Leeder. She married the love of her life, Harvey W. Zimdars, on Oct. 26, 1940, at the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ. Mildred was a lifetime member of the church and was baptized, confirmed and married there. She met Harvey while singing in the church choir. As a member of the church, Mildred was very involved with many organizations, including teaching Sunday school.
