Gov. Scott Walker Says He Won't Pursue or Reject Right-to-Work

Despite first authoring a right-to-work bill 20 years ago, Gov. Walker said pursuing the legislation now would be a distraction, but he also wouldn't reject it if a bill came across his desk.

**Updated 2:40 p.m., Dec. 12 Legislators in Michigan Tuesday passed right-to-work legislation, and folks on both sides of the issue here in Wisconsin were watching closely. Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder told NBC News that he supports collective bargaining, but forcing employees — public or private — to join a union and/or pay union dues was taking away workers' freedom of choice. The two bills he signed bans making union membership a condition of employment for both public and private workers. Protests in Lansing certainly looked familiar to Wisconsin residents. With shouts of "Shame on you" aimed at lawmakers and crowds clogging the state capitol, some Wisconsinites probably experienced a sense of deja vu. Here in Wisconsin, Gov. Scott Walker…

Who Won $337 Million Powerball Lottery Drawing?

The winning ticket was sold in Lapeer, Michigan. Whomever holds that lucky ticket just got a couple hundred million dollars richer.

One lucky winner in Michigan is waking up this morning with some serious financial stability. Going into Saturday's drawing, the Powerball lottery jackpot sat at $300 million, but when there wasn't a winning ticket that night, it rolled up to $320 million. By Wednesday night, just a couple of hours before the numbers were drawn, the jackpot shot to $337 million. The winning numbers were 6, 27, 46, 51, 56, and the Powerball was 21. Unfortunately, nobody from Waukesha won the big prize. In fact, we don't know who the winner is yet. The winner hasn't come forward and probably won't for a couple of days, but according to a story from CNN.com, the golden ticket was sold at a Sunoco station in Lapeer, MI.
