A Waukesha man who was accused of watching pornography at an area fast food restaurant told police he was just scratching himself, according to a criminal complaint.
A 23-year-old Waukesha man accused of watching pornography at McDonald’s, 1635 E. Main St. for nearly nine hours, told police he had his hands down his pants because he was scratching himself, according to a criminal complaint. The Waukesha police officers who were called to the fast food restaurant didn’t buy his excuse. People at McDonald’s told police he was watching pornography on his laptop while fondling himself, according to the criminal complaint. Nicholas P. A 19-year-old Lannon man already charged with sexual assault of a child and exposing a child to harmful materials is in trouble again after authorities say he masturbated in a McDonald’s parking lot. Corey M. Lapp, was charged Friday in Waukesha County Circuit Court with bail jumping, and lewd and lascivious behavior. If convicted, he faces up to three years and nine months in jail, and $20,000 in fines. Lapp was released from jail Tuesday on $1,000 bail. Police say the suspect fled a duplex after a business employee spotted him and a friend trying to steal copper, according to a criminal complaint.
A 33-year-old Waukesha man is accused of breaking into a Milwaukee home with his friend so they could steal copper so they could buy heroin, according to a criminal complaint. Joseph D. Poehlman was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with one count of burglary. If convicted, he faces up to 7 ½ years in prison and $25,000 in fines. If you walked into McDonald’s this week and ordered a meal, you may have noticed a menu board announcing their “Favorites under 400.” According to a story by AdAge, the campaign is being coupled with their Olympics sponsorship. This also the first time you can order McDonald’s food and know the calorie count at the point of purchase. Heather Oldani, director-U.S. communications at McDonald's told AdAge: "We know that we have the opportunity to help our customers feel that much better about the items they're choosing at McDonald's.” The menu board features items that are 400, 300, 200 and 100 calories or less. It was a different McDonald’s and a different food item, but Waukesha police again dealt with a disturbance at the popular fast food joint. Authorities were called to 2340 E. Moreland Blvd. at 4:36 p.m. Monday after an unruly customer threw an orange bottle of soda at the employees through the drive-thru window. The bottle hit an employee in the chest. A McDonald’s employee told officers that the customer was upset when the customer was told it was against policy to throw out customer’s trash at the drive-thru window. A Milwaukee Mustangs player who was at the Waukesha Family YMCA Friday afternoon allegedly punched a glass door at the gym before leaving the facility. The incident was reported at 1:52 p.m. after the front door was broken. However, the YMCA decided to not press charges after speaking with the Milwaukee Mustangs manager, who told YMCA staff that the football team would pay for the damage.
