Obituary: Maxine A. Strong
Waukesha woman, 94, passed away on Sunday.
Maxine A. Strong, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at the age of 94 years. Maxine was born in Mt. Auburn, Iowa, on July 18, 1918, daughter of Harry and Anna Coats. She worked for Milwaukee Gas Specialty for almost 30 years. Maxine went on to work for GE for 10 years until her retirement in 1987. She enjoyed knitting and donating her hand made mittens to children in need. Maxine also enjoyed spending time with her family. Maxine will be dearly missed by her daughter, Carol “Drene” Briski; grandchildren, Suzanne (Daniel) Bowman and James Brueckner; great-granddaughters, Sarah and Rebecca Bowman; Maxine is further survived by other relatives and friends.
