Former Downtown Business Association President Dies at Age 68

Mark E. Redner, 68, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at his home in Waukesha, with his loving family at his side. Mark was born on Nov. 17, 1944, to Charlie and Emma Katherine Redner, originally from Muskegon, MI, but has been a part of our Waukesha community since 1982. Mark moved to Waukesha to accept a promotion with Philip Morris USA where he had worked for 28 years. After choosing to leave the corporate world, he and his wife owned a bar and restaurant in the downtown community for many years. Neighbors Bistro was known as Waukesha’s own little “Cheers” where many people walked in as patrons and walked out as lifelong friends.
