Five candidates are running for the 11th District seat on the Common Council in the Feb. 19 primary election.
Voters in Waukesha's 11th Aldermanic District will head to the polls Feb. 19 to narrow down the field of candidates running for the Common Council. Of the five candidates running, the top two voter-getters will advance to the April 2 general election. A Waukesha man is accused of driving without a license after a Tuesday accident in the Town of Genesee that killed a Muskego man. The Muskego man, Leonard Miller, died at a nearby hospital Wednesday, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Ernesto E. Lazo Villamil, 35, of Waukesha, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of operating a motor vehicle without a license and causing great bodily harm. If convicted, he faces up to 1 1/2 years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 5:57 a.m. Tuesday, Waukesha County sheriff's deputies were called to Highway 59 near Hillside Road for an accident.
