Four Arrested in Waukesha as part of Immigration Crackdown
34 people in Wisconsin were arrested in this week's ICE operation; thousands taken into custody nationwide.
Four people were arrested in Waukesha this week as part of a nationwide immigration crackdown run by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. The Waukesha men were Mexican citizens. Like the other 2,900 people arrested in the crackdown nationwide, they had prior criminal convictions. ICE officials were unable to say what the conviction was for. "The results of this targeted enforcement operation underscore ICE's ongoing commitment and focus on the arrest and removal of convicted criminal aliens and those that game our nation's immigration system," said ICE Director John Morton.
