Could You Be The Next Cheesehead Snooki Or Pauly D?

Hollywood wants to capture Wisconsin's deep abiding affection for the Green Bay Packers and they are going to make a reality show about cheeseheads.

Move over Jersey Shore, the "cheeseheads" are taking over reality television via TBS's new reality show called...well, Cheeseheads, according to SBNation.com. Hollywood has just figured out what we alreday knew -- that Snookie and Pauly D have nothing on us. The producers hope to capture "the hilarious subculture," which of course includes the rituals of brew, brats, and the brouhaha around extreme fandom. The producer is Jason Carbone, who who also did The Bachelor and Run's House. A pilot likely hasn't been put together. So, if you could produce this show, where would you find shining examples of Packers Nation?

Intoxicated Man Shot Hunting Rifle After Packers Loss, Complaint Says

A Town of Waukesha man had a .223 percent blood alcohol concentration when he was arrested for firing his stepfather's hunting rifle on Nov. 25, according to the criminal complaint.

The game between the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants wasn’t going well on Nov. 25, but one football fan found himself in even more trouble than the Packers. An intoxicated Dustin A. Demorrow, 21, of the Town of Waukesha, was ordered down to the ground at gunpoint and handcuffed by Waukesha County deputies after it was reported he shot his stepfather’s hunting rifle at their home on Arcadian Avenue, according to a criminal complaint. Demorrow was charged Thursday in Waukesha County Circuit Court with negligent handling of a weapon. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in jail and $10,000 in fines from the Nov. 25 incident. Deputies were told by Demorrow’s friend they were watching the Packers game and during the game, Demorrow …

Clay Matthews Lights Up Crowd at WCTC Fundraiser

Clay Matthews was the main speaker during a law enforcement appreciation dinner and fundraiser at Waukesha County Technical College.

The sweaty, wet hair Green Bay Packers fans are used to seeing on Clay Matthews on game day was neatly pulled back as he answered questions from fans in Pewaukee about the NFL draft, his college years and what he bought after receiving his big contract extension. The big purchase, Matthews said, was a boat. Not just any boat, but a used boat as he was trying to be financially smart with his $66 million the linebacker will be paid over the next five years. After the draft, he bought new furniture, but decided to save the money by assemblying the pieces himself, Matthews told a laughing crowd. While Matthews might be a saver, he was getting others to spend on Wednesday night during a fundraiser for the new gun range and training facility for…

What Time is the Packers-49ers Playoff Game?

After tossing aside Minnesota, the Green Bay Packers head to San Francisco to take on the 49ers next week.

A rematch of the Week 1 of the NFL season is set for the second round of the NFC Playoffs, as the Green Bay Packers visit the San Francisco 49ers. The game kicks off at 7 p.m. CST Saturday and will be broadcast locally on FOX 6. San Francisco, the No. 2 seed, beat up the Packers in Green Bay to open the season with a 30-22 win.  But Colin Kaepernick is now San Francisco’s starting quarterback, having replaced Alex Smith midway through the season. And David Akers, who kicked an NFL record-tying 63-yard field goal in the September game, is at risk of losing his job after slumping. Billy Cundiff practiced with the team last week. The Packers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 24-10 in the first round of the playoffs, taking a 24-3 lead against …
