Don’t underestimate this Packers wide receiver's ability. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to Green Bay Packers fans that Donald Driver has the moves. We’ve all seen him wiggle his bum on national TV after a good play. And for the past few months, Packers fans have watched him excel on Dancing With the Stars. Driver needed a miracle to stay alive this week to make it to the show’s finale, wrote the Washington Post. He got that miracle Tuesday night. Is it bad to admit I have yet to see an episode of Dancing With the Stars? I’m not a big TV person and I watch stuff when I get to it. Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and Greg Jennings were signing at Waukesha Sportscards this weekend.
The NFL may be months away from the start of the 2012 season, but it didn't matter to the crowd at Waukesha Sportscards who turned out to see Green Bay Packers wide receivers Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson and Greg Jennings. Patch was there for part of the signing and took these pictures of Cobb and Nelson. However, due to Jennings running late, Patch had to leave before Jennings arrived. Popular athletes will open a restaurant called 8*twelve in June in the former Charro building on Bluemound Road. The MVPs plan to stop in for announced and spontaneous visits.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Milwaukee Brewers slugger Ryan Braun are taking on a new venture and this time it is not on the field. It’s in the kitchen. Braun and Rodgers are opening a new restaurant, 8*twelve in Brookfield this month, SURG Restaurant Group announced Monday. Braun’s jersey number is eight and Rodgers’ jersey number is 12. The new restaurant will be located at 17800 W. Bluemound Rd., in the former Charro pan-Latin restaurant. Opening is planned for June. Waukesha man charged with disorderly conduct after Green Bay Packers lost a playoff game against the New York Giants.
Most Green Bay Packers fans were angry last month when their favorite team lost to the New York Giants in the playoffs, but one Waukesha man’s reaction may land him in jail. Kurt T. Lufter, 22, was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct in Waukesha County Circuit Court. He faces up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted of creating a disturbance when he burned a couch on his street as the game ended, according to a criminal complaint. According to the complaint: Police were dispatched to a fire in the middle of the 1000 block of Anoka Avenue at 7:03 p.m. Jan. 15. They found a couch on fire in the middle of the street. Woman realized police were called and threw tickets out her car window on Interstate-94, according to criminal complaint.
A 22-year-old Waukesha woman could be in the running for worst roommate in Wisconsin after she stole her roommate’s Green Bay Packers tickets in order to pay the roommate for the rent, a criminal complaint alleges. It’s unclear in the criminal complaint whether the victim was able to go to the Packers game with the four tickets she purchased from StubHub for $843 because the roommate apparently dumped them on Interstate-94. The roommate, Stephanie L. Annen, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Wednesday with one count of theft. If convicted, she faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines. Green Bay Packers Kicker Mason Crosby has been near perfect all season as he has made 26 out of 28 field goals as the Packers have also been near perfect in the regular season.
