A 33-year-old Waukesha man is accused of his fourth drunk driving charge after a Waukesha police officer spotted a vehicle not stopping at a controlled intersection early Monday. Nicholas A. Stilwell was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of fourth offense operating while intoxicated and one count of bail jumping. If convicted, he faces up to 21 months in prison and $12,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 1:51 a.m. Monday, a Waukesha police officer on patrol saw Stilwell driving northbound on North Grandview Boulevard and turn left onto Michigan Avenue without stopping for a stop sign. Escobar was charged in Racine County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of fourth offense operating while intoxicated with a minor in the vehicle. If convicted, he faces up to two years in prison and $4,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Sunday, a Racine County sheriff’s deputy was travelling northbound on Interstate-94 near the 7 Mile Road off ramp, when he spotted a car driven by Escobar traveling up the ramp. I know him personally... He is going through a REALLY tough time recently (NOT GIVING HIM AN EXCUSE) But drinking is the only way for him to forget about (for a short amount of time) the problems he is facing.
