The Waukesha Fire Department held an open house last week as part of Fire Prevention Week. Families were able to tour the newest fire station on Pearl Street as a part of the open house.

Fire Prevention Week kicked off Saturday morning with a special open house at Waukesha Fire Department Station No. 5 with a special appearance by Flight For Life. The firefighters are giving fire safety public safety messages throughout the community during a six-week period surrounding Fire Safety Week. Waukesha Fire Department Open House is Saturday

Fire Prevention Week is Oct. 9 to Oct. 15.

The Waukesha Fire Department is holding an open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday to kick off Fire Prevention Week, which is from Oct. 9 to Oct. 15. The open house will be at Fire Station No. 5, 3051 Summit Ave. The open house includes a planned landing from Flight for Life and refreshments and educational messages will also be given to those visiting the fire station.
