Construction Slows Route to EAA Airventure
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation warns motorists to be prepared for construction slow-downs on Route 41 heading to the EAA convention in Oshkosh.
From a Wisconsin Department of Transportation press release: The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region is reminding motorists heading to EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, that while US 41 road construction may be taking a brief break during the annual event in Winnebago County, drivers will still encounter road conditions in work zones that could cause backups, requiring patience and advanced planning. The week-long event is being held July 23-29 at Wittman Regional Airport. People driving to the event should allow extra time to navigate construction along US 41 between Breezewood Lane in Neenah and 9th Avenue in Oshkosh.
