Update: Power Restored to Most of Waukesha

Weather is likely to blame for outages affecting customers in Waukesha County.

9:15 p.m. Thursday: Less than 10 people remain without power after WE Energies restored power to more than 1,000 customers in Waukesha. 6:45 p.m. Thursday: More than 1,000 We Energies customers in Waukesha were without power Thursday night after a winter storm hit Waukesha County. As of 6 p.m., We Energies reported that power outages had affected about 1,140 customers north of East Main Street near Manhattan Drive. The cause of the power failure is under investigation, but it appears to be weather related. A spokesman for We Energies could not be reached for comment Thursday night.
