Stars and Stripes Honor Flight is also announcing a limited edition DVD sales of its documentary film Honor Flight; the movie will hit retail stores this May.

Director Dan Hayes, a native of Wauwatosa, remembers the "electricity" in the air when the documentary set a record for largest film screening in history over the summer — and looks forward to continuing on with the film's journey.
After a second stint back on the big screen in Marcus theatres across Wisconsin, the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight documentary has touched the lives of more than 55,000 viewers, Honor Flight officials say. Stars and Stripes Honor Flight has made yet another partnership as plans for its Field of Honor event in Miller Park evolve. Event organizers of the Milwaukee Air & Water Show are teaming up with Stars and Stripes Honor Flight to honor veterans and military service men and women during the August event that will bring together thousands of veterans and feature the world premiere of the organization's documentary. The U.S. Navy Leap Frogs Parachute Demonstration Team will jump into Miller Park Stadium during the Field of Honor event, a press release from Stars and Stripes said.
