Clay Matthews was the main speaker during a law enforcement appreciation dinner and fundraiser at Waukesha County Technical College.
The sweaty, wet hair Green Bay Packers fans are used to seeing on Clay Matthews on game day was neatly pulled back as he answered questions from fans in Pewaukee about the NFL draft, his college years and what he bought after receiving his big contract extension. The big purchase, Matthews said, was a boat. Not just any boat, but a used boat as he was trying to be financially smart with his $66 million the linebacker will be paid over the next five years. After the draft, he bought new furniture, but decided to save the money by assemblying the pieces himself, Matthews told a laughing crowd.
