Ten Waukesha Swimmers Competing in State Meet
After placing high in a number of events, ten swimmers from area Waukesha schools will be competing this weekend at the state meet.
Ten Waukesha swimmers qualified to compete this weekend at the WIAA Division 1 State Meet in Madison after placing high in a number of events at sectional. Over the weekend the co-op Waukesha North/Kettle Moraine placed second at sectional with a score of 313. Trailing right behind in third place was Waukesha South/Catholic Memorial with a score of 295. Waukesha West/Mukwonago placed seventh with a score of 173. Waukesha South/CatholicMemorial senior Alex Swain will be competing in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard freestyle.
