They're generally very professional as far as police/sheriff's departments go. Far more so than some of the local city/village/town departments. The city of Pewaukee department was one of the worst as far as corruption, cowboy McGyverism, chronyism, nepotism, and rascalism. Now that the County unit swallowed them up the troublemakers have been dismissed and Pewaukee has a very professional police force run by the county.
