The best, friendliest coffee shop in town. The coffee is terrific, and the food is great. The veggie wrap and ambrosia chicken sandwich are the best I've ever had. Food orders take a bit longer than other places, but are well worth the wait. Not an owner or anything; just happy to have The Steaming Cup so nearby.
The Steaming Cup

The Steaming Cup offers coffee, espresso and an abundance of teas. It's a great place to meet a friend or associate because it has a nice atmosphere and because it also features specialty foods and baked goods.
This little coffee shop was opened on the historic downtown strip of Waukesha in 2004 by Kerry, Terry and Shawn Mackay. The staff is friendly and happy, and some can even create visual art in the steamed froth of a latte or cappuccino. Outside seating is available during the warmer months.

The chubby brunette kid who works here is incredibly rude. I know others who have stopped going to the Steaming Pile because of him.

Great friendly community gathering place and greatfood and drink.
