Not the value it used to be but the resident owners are getting the property back into share, doing upgrades and repairs so we are hopeful that it will return to be being the premiere property in the downtown area.

Most of the posts I can find online like this are old, to my knowledge there are no 3 bedroom units and some of the ads claim gourmet kitchens, they are not.

The kitchens are typical apartment kitchens most rentals have only the basic plastic countertops, veneer cabinets and lower end appliances.

In some cases the condo owner's have done upgrades to the units to live in them. But the rental units are rather basic, no longer include free internet or cable as many ads also imply but you are free now to install whatever brand you want now so long as there are no dishes on the balconies.

The best features are its location: with access to the Fox River walk, parks, the great downtown area and all the restaurants make it worthwhile. The bad A/C, street noise (lots of bars means loud drunks late at night, arguments, revving motorcycles, sirens), and noisy utility trucks and trash trucks in the mornings. But you also get the Friday night art crawls, the street bands, great views of parades, waterski shows at the river, baby ducks and rabbits, antique stores, craft shops, and the farmers market in walking distance.

Ee love the area and all apartments in the area will face the same drawbacks. The Clocktower is simply the best in the area, safe and upscale.
