When we first walk in the lady who I am assuming is some role in management of the restaurant says to us that she does not want to get up and that we can grab our own menu and seat ourselves. Then the booth we sit in there is a dead fly in the window sill full of dust. We look around and the place overall does not seem to be clean. We figure we are already here and to give the food a chance. We get our food and it seems good at first. Until I get to the end of my meal and I find two medium length gray hairs in my food. We proceed to tell the waitress what we had found and she tells us to tell the manager. We watch the waitress tell the woman our situation and women continues to sit there and read her paper. She does not come up to our table...nothing. When we get up to pay our check assuming she never planned on coming to speak to us the woman asks how our food was acting like she had no idea there was a problem. We then tell her what happened and she said "Oh yes something wrong with your food?..the toast?. " so obviously she was aware and just chose to play "unaware". The woman then says " Oh would taking $2.00 off your meal make you happy?" In my opinion I should have gotten all of my money back just as good customer service to better my experience. It was filthy, the people that run this place do not care about how they are perceived or if the customer is happy or not.

You get tons of food for the money and it's fresh and well made. An average dinner meal is really enough for 2 or 3 meals so be prepared to take some home.

Excellent value for your dollar. Most of the specials menu items range from $8-$10 which includes soup or salad, bread, beer or wine and dessert. You have to love "family" restaurants!
