John's Drive-In (aka: John's Root Beer) has been a Waukesha favorite for years and years. Where else can you go to the "Root Beer Stand" in Waukesha? It used to be that John's was only open in the summers, but now it stays open year round.

Customers enjoy the great-tasting root beer in one of the ice-cold, heavy root beer mugs, together with a chili dog, corn dog, or a shredded BBQ pork sandwich. The menu has many other goodies on it too, including more sandwiches, sides and ice cream treats. Get some root beer to go in up to a gallon sized container. The seasonal menu (September through March) adds Friday fish fry, chili, soup and potato pancakes. John's is open 7 days per week. Picnic tables and car trays are available. A small child's play area is situated on the premises.
