Dr. Rosie and the staff at Gentle Care are the best. We have been going to this Clinic for over 16 years. I have often said we should go some place closer, but my husband will not have it. We feel driving the 1/2 hour is completely worth it. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and very clear on the best care for our pets. Through the years, I have referrred many friends to her, and we all say the same thing, " No one cares more than Dr. Rosie." We feel very lucky to know her.

We have been so very happy with Dr Hartling, the new vet, at Gentle Care. A few month ago, our dog ingested a poison. I called the after hours line, and Dr. Hartling was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and our dog is just fine. Recently, my other doggie contracted a tick borne disease. Dr. Hartling was very quick to diagnose and treat my best buddy. She has provided wonderful, professional care! Plus, my dogs love her, too.
We have been using Dr. Elliot and the staff at GentleCare as our vets for over 20 years. From bringing our pups home, to their final day(when Dr. Elliot came to our home both times) to put down our (then) elderly and hurting friends, they have been professional,up to date on all new techniques and procedures, and have the best prices and hours in Waukesha. Don't let their older building or home-like interior deter you, the vets (especially Dr. Rose Elliot) are top-notch at what they do, and your pet will get the best of care at a price that won't make you have to eat beanie-weenie for the next month!
They were very reasonably priced-- roughly half of what I used to pay.

I will never take another animal to Dr. Rose after she put our cat to sleep without a tranquilizing shot, causing him excruciating pain and us, his parents for the last 10 years, a pain that will never end. He was the most loving animal and to see him screaming in agony for his final moments has kept me awake and crying every night since. She has ignored our written request to never repeat this with another family's beloved pet, and that cannot be forgiven. We've patronized Gentle Care for over 20 years but never again.
