Old tasting pork special, half of a fried chicken was the size of a cornish hen. VERY unfriendly waitress. She never offered us our dessert which was included with the dinners. Not worth the 40 minute drive.

Thanks for a great, old-time dining experience at your nostalgic restaurant,
in downtown Waukesha. Your small restaurant brought back a lot of fond memories from the 50's and 60's when I was growing up in Illinois.

The food was just like the good old days......hot and fresh and juicy,on a hot plate served quickly and graciously by Isabella.
If I was not with a group of others, I would have sat at the great old lunch counter in back........and felt 50 years younger!!!!!!!

Thanks for a memorable experience, Jose and Isabella.
I promise to be back one day.....so I can explore Waukesha's great downtown area and.....and see you folks again.

This restaurant has been around since at least 1961. There has been some silly rules as of late. Coffee is not endless...3 cups is the limit and if you want to sit outside at Jose's tables you must order food...having a beverage is not enough!! Sounds like Jose does not appreciate the customers he has...and will not have if he keeps up making silly rules. There are plenty of other joints to have a cup of joe and be appreciated. What has happened to customer service?
