Specializing in Martial Arts for the whole family, American Dojo of Waukesha offers homeschool programs. Owned by Master Dean & Virginia Konely since 1994, American Dojo teaches children and adults of all ages Tae Kwon Do, Jujutsu, Hopkido (self-defense), Mixed Martial Arts and Xtreme Martial Arts. Master Konley has earned his 5th dan black belt and has been involved in the martial arts for more than 25 years. His wife and children are very involved in martial arts as well. My 5yo son and I have now been members for 3 months and we couldn't be happier. My son wakes up in the morning and has to practice his forms beacuase he wants to do well when testing for his yellow belt. They emphasize doing well in school, listening and being respectfull every day.
I am 45yo and I love the workout and skills I am learning. Joining American Dojo has been one of the best family decisions my wife and I have made. My wife who recently had a knee replacement is planning to join the dojo next year.
